Warren Nieto is a New Mexico artist known for his intricate sterling and stone inlay designs, most frequently strung on chunky beads with sterling silver findings. This single strand necklace includes 6 to 10mm graduated white shell heishi as a base for multiple 2 by 1/2 inch tabs and a 4-7/8 by 2-3/4 inches focal Thunderbird, all boasting beautiful Kingman turquoise and pipestone. Warren’s inlay work is backed with jet to stabilize the forms; he is undoubtedly a master of his craft.
End to end, the necklace measures 22 inches, and there is an additional 1-3/4 inch extension chain to adjust the length as needed. The matching earrings measure 2-7/8 inches long (including ear wire) and 1/2 inches wide.
