This stunning handmade beaded necklace starts with turquoise and spiny oyster shell heishi, spiny oyster rondelles and sterling silver accent beads. Chunky drilled turquoise and spiny oyster tabs are interspersed in each strand which really gives a statement look to the whole piece. It is brought together by sterling silver cones and finished off with a hand turned hammered hook. End to end, the necklace measures 28 inches long plus an additional 2 inch extension for slight length adjustment. Bead sizes range from 6mm to 38mm with a good mix of green/blue turquoise and purple/red/orange spiny oyster shell. Made by New Mexico artist, Daniel Coriz.
