So what we have here is a beautiful 1972 Gerber Mark II Dagger Sheath Knife. This knife is in pretty nice shape for its age, appearing not to have been used or carried. However, there are a few very small pits on the blade (see photos). There are also a few very small chips of paint missing on the handle, this is probably due to it being transported to and from shows and/or being stored improperly (see photos). The sheath seems to be original one and is in pretty nice shape for its age. Unfortunately, there is wear on it from traveling to and from shows and/or being stored incorrectly (see photos). I don’t have the box or paperwork for this knife.

I don’t know when the bluing was done to the blade but I do know Gerber did offer a field bluing kit in the late 1960’s, so a person could blue the blade. Apparently, it was a short lived option due to the bluing being poisonous. Please look at all the photos carefully as they are part of the description. The items in the pictures background are not part of this sale when purchased you will only be receiving the knife.
