This absolutely stunning sterling silver cluster necklace features spiny oyster shell centers carved with a Red Moon Trading Post chief motif, made to look like coins but to us they resemble candy 🙃. The color on these chief pieces is an orangish red that even appears pinkish in some areas, so the photos have been taken in varying degrees of light to display the color shifts. Each chief piece is expertly surrounded by moody purple spiny oyster shell and the main pendant includes turquoise accents to make this giant candy necklace that much sweeter. Each cluster is 2-1/2 inches across with the exception of the main middle cluster which measures 3-1/2 inches across. The necklace weighs a whopping 536 grams, so if you have neck issues, this may not be the necklace for you. The wearable length is 38 inches end to end plus an additional 6 inch drop at the middle, but you can use an S hook on the chain portion to shorten it some as seen in the wear shot. This major statement piece is signed by the artist, Gilbert Platero (GP).
Listing for necklace only.
NATIVE MADE
Actual colors may vary slightly due to lighting, screen display and/or the way color is seen by an individual.
Handcrafted/Handmade work is unique in its design, which means that imperfections will most often be part of an item’s character. Inconsistencies will occur by nature, which makes each piece truly one of a kind; an artist is not a machine.
This listing is for the item named in the title only. Additional photo props or styling pieces are not included.
