Hand Forged Sterling Silver and Turquoise Ingot Cuff Bracelet by Navajo Artist, Gabe Natan

• Gabe Natan, son to acclaimed artist Gene Natan, has quickly carved a unique niche in the Native jewelry community with his beautiful handcrafted pieces. This classic Diné style repoussé high polish cuff is a wonderful representation of Gabe’s smithing finesse. It weighs 70 grams, is 7/8 inch wide and features a vibrant blue and brown heavily matrixed piece of turquoise. The inside   measures 5-3/4 inches end to end plus a 1-1/4 inch gap for a total inner circumference of 7 inches. Perfect worn alone or stacked with your other favorite cuffs!

Will it fit? The best way to determine your ideal cuff size is to measure the inside circumference of a favorite cuff you already wear comfortably. The total measurement is tip to tip (inside) + the open gap. This can be accomplished by using a soft measuring tape or a length of string that can be subsequently stretched along a ruler for measurement. If you do not have a cuff to use, you can implement the same methods around your wrist to determine total size, measuring just behind your wrist bone and pulling the measuring tape just slightly snug..not tight. If you stack bracelets, you may want to go a little larger for wiggle room, but if you only wear one bracelet at a time, a snugger fit is usually okay. If the cuff is very wide, you will generally need a larger size than usual. It comes down to your personal preference and comfort, but the more you collect, the more familiar you become with what works for you.
